Students from the Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing provided meaningful support to pediatric nurses with a project they carried out within the scope of the "Nursing Week Social Responsibility Project Focused on Social Solidarity and Professional Motivation." Thank you messages prepared by children in Batman and handmade gifts by students were delivered to the nurses working at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, leading to emotional moments during the event. In the project, where a celebratory video prepared by children was also shared, seedling donations were also made, contributing to environmental awareness.

A meaningful gesture for the dedicated struggle of pediatric nurses


Students from Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing offered meaningful support to healthcare professionals with a social responsibility project they launched as part of Nursing Week, under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Tuğba Karakuş Türker from the Department of Nursing.
Thank you messages prepared by children in Batman and handmade gifts prepared by students were delivered to the nurses working at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital.

They wrote thank you letters…
Within the scope of the "Nursing Week Social Responsibility Project Focused on Social Solidarity and Professional Motivation," children drew pictures and wrote thank you letters for the nurses, while students prepared bookmarks and bracelets. The prepared special packages were delivered to the nurses as part of the Nursing Week activities.

Emotional moments were experienced
Emotional moments were experienced during the event as a celebratory video prepared by the children was shared with the nurses. Additionally, in the project, seedling donations were made in the name of each clinic, creating environmental awareness.

Project coordinator Asst. Prof. Tuğba Karakuş Türker from Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Nursing stated that they aimed to thank the nurses for their selfless work; "This work created a strong bridge of solidarity among children, students, and healthcare professionals."
The project, to which approximately 60 people contributed, is planned to continue annually as part of Nursing Week.
