The Speak Dream, Live (Camp, Speak Dream, Live) project will be carried out in cooperation with the University of Texas Arthur M. Blanck Center and Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Speech and Language Therapy Department. The project, to be organized at Üsküdar University Speech and Language Therapy Research and Application Center (ÜSESKOM) between June 30 and July 4, 2025, aims to reduce the negative effects of stuttering on individuals' quality of life. Notable for being the first intervention method to be implemented in Turkey, the project will be conducted under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Konrot and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Aydın Uysal, with many speech and language therapists from various universities.

The project, notable for being the first intervention method to be implemented in Turkey, is planned to be carried out under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ahmet Konrot, Head of Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, Speech and Language Therapy Department and ÜSESKOM Director, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayşe Aydın Uysal, a faculty member of the Speech and Language Therapy department, with many speech and language therapists from various universities.
Strengthening peer relationships is targeted
The program aims to support the communication skills of individuals who stutter, reduce the negative effects of stuttering on their quality of life, strengthen peer relationships, and support leadership skills.
The project, an intensive therapy program for individuals who stutter, does not solely focus on speech fluency.
