The “Industry and Leadership Days 9” event was organized by Üsküdar University Health, Culture and Sports Department (SKS) and the Industry and Leadership Club. In the program, attended by prominent figures from the sector, speakers shared their experiences with students. The opening speech of the program, which garnered significant interest from participants, was delivered by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Savsar, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department at Üsküdar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

The event, held at Üsküdar University Central Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall, was attended by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Savsar, Head of the Industrial Engineering Department at Üsküdar University's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Ahmet Bal, Chairman of the Board of Ülker, Aydın Süha, CEO of Loft, Ahmet Zeytinoğlu, CEO of Sodexo, Hüseyin Aymutlu, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Happy Moons, and Betül Moran Uludağ, Business Development Manager at Login Software.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Savsar: “Being a student is not just about passing courses”
Emphasizing that events contribute to students' development, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Savsar said; “Being a student is not just about passing courses. It is about enriching oneself with such events and building connections with the sector. Industrial engineering, on the other hand, is a discipline that produces scientific and systematic solutions to complex problems, and creates a difference in every sector with its planning and control skills.”

Ahmet Bal: “Being trustworthy is extremely valuable”
Emphasizing the importance of trust in career and relationships, Ahmet Bal, Chairman of the Board of Ülker, said; “Be trustworthy. In terms of individuals, being trustworthy at the company you work for throughout your career journey is extremely valuable, and trust is like the number in front of zeros, just as in health. When you lose it, even if you have a thousand zeros, they have no value. It takes time to regain it. Therefore, it is greatly beneficial to protect and maintain it with extreme care and diligence.”

Aydın Süha: “You cannot speak on stage without knowing life”
Referring to the importance of experience in life's journey, Aydın Süha, CEO of Loft, said; “Life is out there, friends. Nobody will give you a salary based on your average grades, but career and money based on your performance. Go work somewhere during the summer holidays. Do it for experience, not for money. You cannot speak on stage without knowing life.”

Ahmet Zeytinoğlu: “There are no obstacles to learning right now”
Emphasizing the importance of learning in the information age, Ahmet Zeytinoğlu, CEO of Sodexo, said; “We should not say 'I don't know English' or 'I can't do this' right now. Because there are infinite resources for knowledge, and the devices we have are incredible. There are no obstacles to learning right now.”

Hüseyin Aymutlu: “If a person's work is parallel to their personality, they can be successful”
Emphasizing the role of individual compatibility, attitude, and problem-solving skills in success, Hüseyin Aymutlu, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Happy Moons, said; “If a person's work is parallel to their personality, they can be successful. In other words, being in a job suitable for one's own nature makes them successful. Attitude is very important; one needs to stay positive and be a problem-solver.”

Betül Moran Uludağ: “Your desire to learn and discover makes you noticeable”
Emphasizing that students should not be limited to compulsory internships, Betül Moran Uludağ, Business Development Manager at Login Software, said; “The best way to discover what you want to do is to experience things. Don't be limited to compulsory internships; volunteer, ask questions, knock on doors. Your desire to learn and discover makes you noticeable.”
After plaques and certificates of appreciation were presented to the guests for their participation, the event concluded with a group photo session.
