Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which adopts an innovative, future-oriented education approach to raise highly qualified individuals and produce knowledge, held the 5th of its traditional Vision meetings. The 5th Vision Meeting focused on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), held under the main theme 'Sustainability and Digitalization Focused' under the leadership of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, addressed the integration of Üsküdar Üniversitesi and NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi on two main topics.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi continues its traditional vision meetings.
This year's 5th Vision Meeting was held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi NP Health Campus, Ibn-i Sina auditorium.
Adding to the vision meetings, the first of which was held in 2019, followed by the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th focusing on 'Digitalization,' 'R&D and Innovative Policies Focused,' and 'International Brand Awareness Focused,' a new one has been added.
Attendees of the meeting included Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector and Chairman of the Executive Board Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Chairman of the Board of Trustees Furkan Tarhan, Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka, Executive Board Member and İDER Foundation Board Member Fırat Tarhan, along with NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi executives, vice-rectors, rector's advisors, deans, department heads, managers, and research center directors.
The meeting was moderated by Tolga Yücel, Founder and Chairman of the Board of Megawatt Ajans Hizmetleri A.Ş., who also provides brand consultancy within Yücel Communication and Management Consultancy.
The workshop groups formed at the meeting, where the current situation and process analysis were thoroughly discussed to move forward with more confident steps towards the future, debated questions such as:
- What should be the strategic future vision and its related transformation elements?
- What are the common / different perspectives and applications for this transformation?’
- What should be the vision and strategy of the transformation?’ and put forward various proposals.
