52 Students from 18 Different Countries to Meet at Üsküdar University

Üsküdar University is breaking its own record in Erasmus+ student mobility. Set to host 52 Erasmus students from 18 different countries in the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, Üsküdar University is preparing to surpass its previous record of 39 students from 15 countries in the last academic period. Strengthening its global education vision with increasing international student mobility, Üsküdar University will welcome students from various countries with a comprehensive 4-day Erasmus Orientation Week.

Üsküdar University continues to increase student mobility in Erasmus+ activities in line with its internationalization vision. In the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, 52 Erasmus students from 18 different countries will continue a part of their education at Üsküdar University.

Having hosted 39 Erasmus students from 15 different countries in the past academic semester, Üsküdar University is preparing to set a new record this year with 52 incoming Erasmus students. 

52 Students from 18 Countries to Meet at Üsküdar University

The Erasmus+ mobility, which will bring together students from different countries and cultures, will also significantly contribute to Üsküdar University's international academic visibility.

With 52 students from 18 different countries joining the Üsküdar University family in the new academic term, the goal is to further strengthen intercultural interaction and international academic sharing on campuses.

39 Students Were Hosted Last Year…

Within the scope of the Erasmus Orientation Week organized by the Erasmus Coordination Office of the Directorate of International Relations at Üsküdar University in the last academic semester, 39 students from 15 different countries were hosted at the university.

In the program carried out to support the students' adaptation processes to the university and Istanbul, comprehensive work was done on academic processes, student life, and cultural activities, and students had the opportunity to closely experience the historical and cultural fabric of Istanbul. 

4-Day Orientation Program for New Erasmus Students

Üsküdar University will organize a 4-day Erasmus Orientation Week to support the adaptation processes of incoming Erasmus students to the university and Istanbul in the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.

On the first day of the program, a Welcome and Introduction Program will be held for students, with the participation of Erasmus+ Department Academic Coordinators. The program aims for students to get closely acquainted with the university, academic processes, and student life, and information regarding the Erasmus+ process will also be provided.

First Meeting to be Held on September 14

The Welcome and Introduction Program, part of the Erasmus Orientation Week, will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at the Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall, Üsküdar University Central Campus.

Within the scope of the program, which aims for newly arrived international students to make a strong start to academic life, events will be organized to contribute to the students' adaptation to both the Üsküdar University family and the social and cultural life of Istanbul.

Internationalization Vision Continues to Strengthen

Üsküdar University is further advancing its internationalization vision with the new number it has reached in Erasmus+ student mobility. The fact that 52 students from 18 different countries will study at Üsküdar University in the same academic semester will also contribute to the development of the university's international academic collaborations and global interaction capacity.

While the aim is to strengthen not only academic knowledge sharing but also intercultural communication by bringing together students from different cultures, Üsküdar University continues to create a global education environment with the academic and social opportunities it offers to international students.
