52 Erasmus students from 15 different countries at Üsküdar University

Üsküdar University is hosting 52 Erasmus students from 15 different countries in the Fall Semester of the 2026-2027 academic year. Üsküdar University, which reached 39 students from 15 countries in the previous academic semester, increased its student number this semester. Strengthening its global education vision with increased international student mobility, Üsküdar University welcomes students from various countries.

An opening program was held for 52 Erasmus students from 15 different countries within the scope of Erasmus+ Orientation Week. 

At the program held in the South Campus Fuat Sezgin Conference Hall, students received information about the university's academic and administrative structure and student life.

Üsküdar University was introduced to Erasmus students

Within the program held as part of Erasmus+ Orientation Week, various presentations were made to help students get to know the university and its educational processes. During the program, a general introductory presentation about Üsküdar University was given by Mehmet Kaymaz, Assistant Erasmus Institutional Coordinator of the International Relations Department.

In the presentation given by the Department of Student Affairs, students were informed about the academic and administrative processes at the university.

In the presentation made by the Department of Library and Documentation, the library services and opportunities available to students were conveyed.

International students' questions were answered

After the students' questions about their education life at Üsküdar University were answered, the conference hall section of the program concluded.

Students socialized in the South Campus garden

After the program in the conference hall, students gathered in the South Campus garden area. 

At the gathering, accompanied by tea service, students from different countries had the opportunity to meet and chat with each other.

Erasmus students will get to know Turkish culture closely

The Erasmus+ Orientation Week program will continue with cultural events such as an Istanbul Historical Peninsula tour, a clay workshop, and a traditional Turkish breakfast. 

International students will also have the opportunity to visit a Turkish village and get to know local life closely. Various activities, including traditional Turkish games, will be organized within the program.
