Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “The medical profession is crisis-resistant”

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, also attended the award ceremony and gala dinner. Tarhan, mentioning that such meetings and congresses increase social and emotional intelligence, stated: “We awarded 5 of our friends, but merely being here and entering the competition is a great success and performance. You came from various parts of Anatolia. You achieved results in such a scientific, peaceful, and sweet competition. The future of humanity is directed towards young people like you, those with vision, and there are great opportunities in the world right now. There is some propaganda against doctors, do not be pessimistic because of it. The medical profession is crisis-resistant. Like the food industry, the health sector is also like that because society always needs it. Being in such an ancient profession, you will see the great benefits of the foundation that comes with being in the medical and health professions in the future. It is very important that you can develop yourselves not only in the field of medicine but also in social and skill areas, and express yourselves. One purpose of these meetings and congresses is to increase social and emotional intelligence in terms of socialization. Therefore, I tell you to continue on your path with the same excitement, the same pace, and the same enthusiasm, keep going.”
