The "4th International Food Chemistry Congress," organized in cooperation with Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Yıldız Technical University, and the Association of Chemists, will take place in Antalya/Kemer between May 8-11, 2025.
The main theme of this year's congress is "Sustainability in food production," and important figures in the field will gather to discuss the latest developments on this topic.
At the congress, which is also supported by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan will discuss "From Food Chemistry to Brain Chemistry: The Brain-Nutrition Relationship," and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Kaynak will address "Risks and Opportunities in Food Supply in the Century of Crises."

At the congress, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan will deliver a presentation titled "From Food Chemistry to Brain Chemistry: The Brain-Nutrition Relationship."

Emphasizing that the congress will cover all aspects of the food field, from laboratory studies to in silico studies and global changes affecting food sustainability, Congress President Prof. Dr. Muhammet Arıcı stated that the congress will offer significant opportunities. Arıcı said: “The congress will enable all supplier companies and their employees serving the sector and universities to actively participate, organize 'Courses' and 'Workshops', participate by opening stands, and communicate with sector representatives to contribute to solving existing problems and determining new trends for the future, taking into account the importance of the food sector's supply chain.”
