2025–2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony held in Beştepe

The 2025–2026 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony, attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, was held at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center in Ankara. Üsküdar University was represented at the ceremony by Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Ceren Saran Doğan, and Research Assistant Atila Erdemir from the Department of Journalism.

The ceremony, organized under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, took place at the Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center in Ankara.

In addition to state officials, the ceremony was attended by ministers, members of the Council of Higher Education, heads of relevant institutions, ambassadors, rectors, academics, and students.

Representing Üsküdar University at the ceremony were Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Gül Esra Atalay, Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Ceren Saran Doğan, and Research Assistant Atila Erdemir from the Department of Journalism.

In his speech, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered significant remarks regarding the ceasefire in Gaza, stating: “We will support reconstruction activities together with the international community so that Gaza can rise again.”
