The Academic Board Meetings organized by Üsküdar Üniversitesi in preparation for the 2024-2025 academic year, started with the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, and the Vocational School of Health Services. During the meetings, attended by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, comprehensive evaluations were made regarding the strategies, academic processes, and general operations to be implemented in the new academic year.
The first of the new year's academic board meetings was held at the Central Campus Nermin Tarhan Conference Hall.
The meeting was attended by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel, Rector Advisor Prof. Dr. Muhsin Konuk, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Osman Çerezci, Director of the Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO) Prof. Dr. Mesut Karahan, along with numerous academic and administrative staff.
Academic goals for the new period were discussed
At the meeting, the university's future vision and academic goals for the new period were addressed. Additionally, projects aimed at improving the quality of education and innovative practices to contribute to student development were evaluated. Proposals for making existing academic and administrative processes more efficient were also discussed at the meeting.
Steps for national and international strengthening were discussed
During the Academic Board Meeting, the current status of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, its academic achievements, and research projects were evaluated in detail.
During the board meeting, steps to be taken for the university to further strengthen its national and international presence in the upcoming period were also discussed.
The meeting concluded after receiving feedback and suggestions.
