President of Üsküdar University, Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan is among the authors of the book titled “Günümüz Gençliğinin Karşı Karşıya Bulunduğu Büyük Tehlike: Farklı Cinsel Kimlik Yönelimleri” (The Great Danger Faced by Today's Youth: Different Sexual Identity Orientations) published by 'Kaknüs Psychology'.
The work, which consists of articles written by eight Turkish scientists who are experts in the field, is the first domestic study on different sexual identity orientations with the initiative of the World Children and Family Protection Platform (World ÇAKOP).
President of Üsküdar University, Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan is among the authors of the study, as well as Sefa Saygılı, Sema Yılmaz, Mustafa Atak, Ahmet Akın, Beşir Eryarsoy, Mehmet Lütfi Arslan and Mustafa Merter.
Prof. Tarhan made evaluations under the title of pathological sexuality
Prof. Nevzat Tarhan draws attention to important topics on pathological sexuality with the section titled “Sexuality as Pathological Addiction”. Tarhan, who made remarks in the light of psychology, made evaluations also on whether sexual identities are innate or acquired.
It was stated that the purpose of writing the book was the increase in 'abnormal sexual tendencies'
While it was stated that the purpose of writing the book was the increase in abnormal sexual tendencies it is stated that “Recently, it is seen that young people are encouraged to have abnormal sexual tendencies in our country, as in the West and in America. The number of broadcasts and posts that promote homosexuality in the virtual world, on various television platforms, and in print and visual media has increased. Youth is being clamped down from all sides. We are facing a big game on a global scale. The founders of this game are causing a moral collapse to humanity in an effort to destroy the family institution all over the world.”.
