Prof. Tayfun Uzbay represented Türkiye in the 80th International FID Congress

Üsküdar University Rector Advisor, Head of Department of Medical Sciences and Turkish Pharmacists’ Association Central Delegation Member Prof. Tayfun Uzbay participated in the 80^th International FIP (Federation of International Pharmacy). Prof. Tayfun Uzbay represented Türkiye as the delegate of the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association in the congress that was held in the Council Member Meeting.

All reports of the working groups in the field of pharmacy were reported and Prof. Tayfun Uzbay represented our country by voting on the behalf of President of the Turkish Pharmacists’ Association in the congress that topics from the FIP budget to politics and projects, were discussed and voted.

Uzbay “Worldwide pharmacy will experience a change after the Covid 19”

Prof. Tayfun Uzbay participated in all the official programs within the congress and expressed his observations. Uzbay said that: “Worldwide pharmacy will experience a change after the Covid 19. They are in the search of that. They concern a lot the quality of the pharmacy education. They discussed that the private universities effects adversely the education standards and job satisfaction of pharmacists and lack of motivation.  It is said that 40% of pharmacy graduates in Israel are lean to different fields due to disappointment and low job satisfaction.”.
