Üsküdar University athletes have added another major achievement to their growing list of successes. As part of the 2025 event calendar of the Turkish University Sports Federation (TÜSF), the Turkish Kickboxing Championship and the Turkish Taekwondo Championship were held.

Üsküdar athletes proudly took home a gold medal in Kickboxing and a bronze medal in Taekwondo, once again proving their sporting excellence.


Four athletes represented Üsküdar University at the championships.
The Kickboxing Championship was held in Balıkesir, while the Taekwondo Championship took place in Muğla.
Gold for Üsküdar in Kickboxing!
Yaren Çınar, a second-year student in the Paramedic Program at the Vocational School of Health Services, claimed first place in Türkiye in the Kickboxing Championship and was awarded the gold medal.

Bronze for Üsküdar in Taekwondo!
In the Turkish Taekwondo Championship, Mahbube Mehlika Tozlu, a third-year student in the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Faculty of Health Sciences, won third place in Türkiye, earning the bronze medal.

In addition to the medalists, Tuğçenaz Teke, a first-year student in the Department of Forensic Sciences at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, competed in Taekwondo, while Rümeysa Sultan Yalçınkaya, a second-year student in the Physiotherapy Program at the Vocational School of Health Services, delivered a strong performance in Kickboxing.
Üsküdar University continues to raise the bar day by day, not only in academic excellence but also in the field of sports.
