A First in Türkiye! ‘Camp, Speak, Dream, Live’ Project at Üsküdar University
In collaboration with the University of Texas Arthur M. Blank Center and Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Speech and Language Therapy Department of Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Health Sciences, the Camp, Speak, Dream, Live project will be launched. The project, scheduled to take place between June 30 – July 4, 2025, at the Üsküdar University Speech and Language Therapy Research and Application Center (ÜSESKOM), aims to reduce the negative impact of stuttering on quality of life.Attracting attention as the first intervention method of its kind in Türkiye, the project will be conducted under the leadership of Prof. Ahmet Konrot and Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Aydın Uysal, with the participation of numerous speech and language therapists from various universities.
The Camp, Speak, Dream, Live project is planned to be held at the Üsküdar University Speech and Language Therapy Research and Application Center (ÜSESKOM).
It will be held between June 30 – July 4, 2025

A Unique Intervention Method to Be Implemented for the First Time in Türkiye
This project stands out for introducing a new intervention method that will be applied in Türkiye for the first time. Under the leadership of Prof. Ahmet Konrot, Head of the Speech and Language Therapy Department of Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences and Director of ÜSESKOM, along with Assoc. Prof. Ayşe Aydın Uysal, the project will bring together many speech and language therapists from different universities.
Aiming to Strengthen Peer Relationships
The program aims to support the communication skills of individuals who stutter, reduce the negative effects of stuttering on their quality of life, strengthen peer relationships, and enhance leadership skills.
This intensive therapy program is designed for individuals who stutter but does not solely focus on fluency in speech.

The Camp, Speak, Dream, Live program is an intensive therapy program developed by the University of Texas Arthur M. Blank Stuttering Education and Research Center for children and adolescents who stutter.
