Great success in the EAQUALS audit from the English Preparatory School

The English Preparatory School, which is part of the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship of Üsküdar University, successfully completed the EAQUALS audit held on June 4-5, 2024. Üsküdar University, which has successfully completed an audit within the framework of international standards in management, education, training, measurement and evaluation, curriculum and material preparation, was presented with an accreditation certificate.

Üsküdar University, which attaches importance to being auditable and measurable in every field, successfully completed the EAQUALS audit of the English Preparatory School within the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship on June 4-5, 2024.

President of Üsküdar University and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör met with the academic staff and coordinator of the preparatory school to evaluate this intensive work and supervision process.

Lou McLaughlin, who is Director General of EAQUALS International Accreditation Agency for Foreign Language Education, stated that they were surprised by the readiness for this audit, which was carried out just two months after the consultant audit carried out on March 20, 2024, and that this success was the result of great determination and work.

It was emphasized that the school received a grade of excellence especially in management and organization and communication with stakeholders, achieved this success thanks to the strong leadership of Foreign Languages Coordinator Dilek Batur.

Advisor to the Rector Prof. Muhsin Konuk stated that the accreditation was obtained through regular and systematic studies. Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör stated that the fact that the preparatory school meets international standards and the success achieved in the accreditation process is of great importance for the university.
