Nevzat & Nermin Tarhan Human Values and Mental Health Foundation was honored with a plaque for its activities that are beneficial to the society. Representing Üsküdar University, RİNAP Board Member Prof. İlham Miraç attended the meeting of the Second Regional Directorate of Foundations, which was attended by more than 40 foundation representatives. The plaque was presented to Miraç by Regional Manager Arif Özsoy.

At the meeting of the İstanbul Second Regional Directorate of Foundations, which was attended by more than 40 foundation representatives, Nevzat & Nermin Tarhan Human Values and Mental Health Foundation was honored with a plaque for its activities that benefit the society.

The meeting was held at Üsküdar General Directorate of Foundations, İstanbul Second Regional Directorate.

Representing Üsküdar University, Prof. İlham Miraç from the Foreign Languages Coordinatorship attended the meeting.

Health and educational activities were introduced

At the meeting, the activities of the TARHAN-IDER Foundation in the field of health and education, including NP Medical Centers, as well as Üsküdar University, which was established in 2010 and currently provides education to 25 thousand students, were explained.

On the other hand, books on psychology, sociology, family, and marriage written by President of Üsküdar University and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, of which income is donated to the foundation, is closely related to the society. Attention was drawn to the printing, publishing and distribution activities of his books.

In addition, information was given about the activities of the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) at the meeting.

Attention was drawn to the Manifesto for Universal Human Values and Rights

Attending the meeting on behalf of Üsküdar University, RİNAP Board Member Prof. İlham Miraç also gave information about student scholarships and aid to those in need. Miraç also pointed out that the Manifesto for Universal Human Values and Rights was signed by 400,000 people and 200 universities. At the meeting, it was proposed to prepare certified programs on human values within Üsküdar University.
