DIR 101 DIRFloortime beginner course was given

'DIR 101 DIRFloortime Beginner Course' was organized Under the leadership of Üsküdar University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development, Early Childhood Development working group. Students showed great interest in the training, which was planned for two days. Expert Training Leader Dr. Psychologist Deniz Özkılıç attended the course as an instructor. In the training organized for 4th year students in the Department of Child Development, the Floortime model and its scope were introduced.

The training, which took place in the Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Yuşa conference hall, aims to make the senior students of the Child Development Department more equipped.

Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Child Development, Asst. Prof. Demet Gülaldı also attended the training program.

Emphasizing that Floortime education is a developed and comprehensive program, Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Child Development Asst. Prof. Demet Gülaldı stated that "We organized a two-day training for the fourth-year students of the child development department. Floortime training is a behavior-based model that has been scientifically proven. It is a comprehensive program developed especially for children with many developmental delays, including 'Autism Spectrum Disorder', and their families, which form the basis of a relational-based model. We will receive training for this from Expert Educator Dr. Psych. Deniz Özkılıç. We want to prepare our colleagues from our department in a more equipped way before graduating and we plan to do so. For this purpose, we want to train students in the field about current programs in child assessment and family-oriented programs by supporting them with our guest educators."
