"2023-2024 Academic Year Opening Ceremony" was held at the Presidential Complex

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Vice Rector Prof. Hikmet Koçak attended the "2023-2024 Higher Education Academic Year Opening Ceremony" held at the Presidential Complex with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Erol Özvar and state officials, as well as ministers, members of the Council of Higher Education, heads of relevant institutions, ambassadors and rectors, academicians and students attended the ceremony held at the Presidential Complex Beştepe National Congress and Culture Center.

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör and Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Hikmet Koçak attended the opening ceremony which was held with the participation of all universities.

CoHE President Prof. Erol Özvar made the opening speech of the ceremony attended by senior managements, academics and successful students of all universities in Türkiye, and Prof. Özvar mentioned that they aim to make Türkiye among the countries that host the highest number of international students by emphasizing national and international projects and artificial intelligence-oriented research, as well as increasing higher education demand, support in the earthquake zone and sustainability studies.

After the opening speeches ended, the "CoHE 2023 Outstanding Achievement Awards" were presented to their owners by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CoHE President Prof. Erol Özvar.
