Üsküdar University, which provides Türkiye's first Bachelor of Forensic Sciences education under the leadership of Prof. Sevil Atasoy, is achieving significant success in the international arena with its forensic science students. PhD student in Forensic Sciences at the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences İnci Yağmur Tezbasan was selected as a member of the month by the International Forensic Nurses Association (IAFN) based in the United States. On the other hand, two students from the 4th year of Forensic Science were accepted to a 2-week internship at the Sheriff's Department Crime Laboratory in Los Angeles County.

Üsküdar University draws attention in Türkiye and international platforms with its education in the field of Forensic Sciences. Students show that they are equipped to compete in the labor market with the training and internship opportunities they have obtained in the international arena.

PhD student selected as member of the month by the IAFN

İnci Yağmur Tezbasan, a student of the Doctoral Program in Forensic Sciences at the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, was selected as a member of the month by the International Forensic Nurses Association (IAFN), which is based in the United States. The center is considered one of the most important forensic nursing institutions in the world.

Expressing her happiness to be selected as a member of the month by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN), Tezbasan said that it was extremely rewarding to work with dedicated professionals.

She received a master's degree acceptance from Sapienza University in Italy...

Pointing out that Üsküdar University is in a good position in Türkiye and international platforms in terms of the quality of education offered, Director of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, Vice Rector Prof. Sevil Atasoy said that they are proud of their students' achievements in the international arena. Atasoy stated that "The training and internship opportunities provided to students help graduates to be equipped to compete in the labor market. This year, two of the 4th year Forensic Science students were accepted for a 2-week internship at the Sheriff's Department Crime Laboratory in Los Angeles County. Last summer, 4 forensic science students did internship at the same place. Our 2022 graduate student Sena Deniz has been accepted for her master's degree from the 'Cognitive Forensic Sciences' program of Sapienza University in Rome, Italy. On the other hand, our doctoral student İnci Yağmur Tezbasan was selected as a member of the month by the International Forensic Nurses Association based in the USA. These are proud achievements. I congratulate my students.".
