Faculty of Communication departments were given the certificate of accreditation by İLAD

The accreditation certificates of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design and Advertising programs, which are accredited by the Communication Research Association (İLAD), were presented to the department heads at a ceremony held at the Senate Hall in the main campus. Üsküdar Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design Department became the first department to receive 5-year accreditation.

Those who participated in the ceremony held at Üsküdar University Senate Hall are as follows İLAD President Prof. Aysel Aziz, İLEDAK President Prof. Recep Tayfun, İLAD Vice President Prof. Jale Sarmaşık ve İLAD Board of Directors Member Dursun Güleryüz and President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Üsküdar University Secretary General Selçuk Uysaler, Dean of Communication Faculty Prof. Süleyman İrvan, Deputy Dean Prof. Bahar Muratoğlu Pehlivan, Head of Visual Communication Design Department Prof. And Algül, Head of Advertising Department Prof. Özgül Dağlı, faculty members and research assistants from Advertising and Visual Communication Design departments.

As Üsküdar Faculty of Communication, we had a successful accreditation process

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, who made the opening speech of the certificate ceremony, said that as the Faculty of Communication, they made a lot of effort in the accreditation process and had a successful process. Prof. Güngör congratulated the heads and instructors of the departments that were entitled to receive İLAD accreditation and stated that other programs are also preparing for accreditation.".

Üsküdar University increases quality management efficiency day by day

President of Üsküdar University, Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, who made a speech at the ceremony, made a speech emphasizing that Üsküdar University attaches special importance to quality and accreditation processes. Prof. Tarhan said that "Quality management increases productivity. Quality is the most important value of this age. The better we use it, the more power and levels we attain. We are constantly talking about quality in the Senate, and we encourage the units. Quality is the fixed agenda of the Senate meetings we hold every week. It is pleasing that our two more programs are accredited.".

İLAD President Prof. Aysel Aziz made a speech referring to the importance of İLAD accreditation. Aysel Aziz said that "You put a lot of effort into accreditation. We know this is not an easy task. You are a university that has supported us since the very beginning, applied for accreditation. This is very important, and you have trusted us from the very beginning, we thank you very much. For the first time, it was your Department of Visual Communication Design to receive 5-year accreditation. We also congratulate this. Your advertising department has also received 2-year accreditation. We congratulate that department of yours and wish you many successes.".

Certificates were given to department heads

Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication Visual Communication Design program was entitled to receive 5-year accreditation by the Communication Research Association (ILAD) as a result of the evaluation made by the Communication Education Evaluation Accreditation Board (İLEDAK), and the accreditation decision was notified to the Dean of Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication with the signature of İLAD President Prof. Aysel Aziz. Furthermore, Advertising program was accredited for 2 years. At the certificate ceremony, Prof. Aysel Aziz presented the accreditation certificate of the Visual Communication Design program and the accreditation certificate of the Advertising program to Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, and Prof. Güngör presented the certificates to Head of the Department of Visual Communication Design Prof. And Algül and Head of the Department of Advertising Prof. Özgül Dağlı.
