Prof. Nazife Güngör is in the jury of TGC Sedar Simavi Awards
This year, Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör once again is among the jury in the category of Radio Television within the scope of the awards given for 47 years in the name of Turkish Journalists' Association (TGC) Founder Sedar Simavi.
The application has begun also this year for the award ceremony given for 47 years in the name of the Turkish Journalists' Association (TGC) Founder Sedar Simavi.
Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör is among the jury members of this year's Radio and Television category of the competition, where applications are accepted until September 30. The jury of the Radio and Television category also includes prominent academicians of the world of communication and members of the media besides Güngör.
The TGC Sedat Simavi Awards are given in nine categories: Journalism, Radio, Television, Cartoon, Literature, Social Sciences, Science, Health Sciences and Sports. The number of award categories and the members of the Selection Committee are determined annually by the Board of Directors of the Turkish Journalists' Association.
The candidates nominated by the institutions and educational institutions are submitted to the Selection Committee for evaluation together with the candidates who apply for candidacy in person and the candidates determined by the Preliminary Research Boards established by the Turkish Journalists' Association.
Every year, the awards are presented with ceremony in December and it is announced via media.
