As part of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) Science Café initiative, Üsküdar University’s Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences and the Department of Health, Culture and Sports will organize a program titled “Being a University Student in Gaza.”
The program will address the impact of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza on higher education and academic life and will feature a live connection with the Islamic University of Gaza (IUG). Through this live session, experiences of university life in Gaza, challenges faced in continuing education, and the current conditions of academic activities will be shared with participants.
The program will also explore the challenges faced by university students in Gaza and the sustainability of higher education activities from both academic and humanitarian perspectives.
