The founding law of the University was published in the official gazette on March 03, 2011 with the name T.C.ÜSKÜDAR UNIVERSITY. This document is a public declaration of the University's founding purposes, vision, mission, strategic goals, corporate values and quality standards.
Purpose of Establishment
To specialize in the field of behavioral health and sciences, to produce knowledge, projects and academic production at world standards, to develop resources for this production, to realize collaborations and to train qualified people.

Under the doctrine of "A Holistic Approach from Mathematics to Philosophy, Social Sciences to Health Sciences", the vision of producing services, projects and trained personnel for human health, community mental health, individual, family, humanitarian and social values by applying multidisciplinary bioengineering, brain imaging, neuroscience, genetic science, informatics, sociology, psychology, religious science, and communication science methods.
