Research Focus
Animation and Digital Game Studies Group aims to carry out data-based research on two and three dimensional animations, experimental and traditional animations, as well as digital game design, research that will contribute to the literature, and studies based on application analysis. With today's technological changes and transformations, it has become necessary to define the meaningful connection between the practitioner and the exposed audience of the production and applications that push the boundaries in the field of animation and digital game design. Again, with the numerical data taken from the student groups studying in the field of animation and digital game design, it is aimed to determine the limitations of the education given in this field, to contribute to the literature by conducting research to increase the quality of education and production.

Mission
To analyze the software and hardware used in the production of two and three dimensional animation and digital game design in the context of designers and students.
To conduct data-driven research on two and three dimensional animations, experimental and traditional animations as well as digital game design.
To carry out research and practice analysis based studies that will contribute to the literature in the context of two and three dimensional animations, experimental and traditional animations as well as digital game design.
To define the meaningful connection between production and practices, between the practitioner and the exposed audience.

Vision
To contribute to the literature in the context of two and three dimensional animations, experimental and traditional animations as well as digital game design.
To carry out measurements to determine the limitations of the education given in this field with the numerical data taken from the student groups studying in the field of animation and digital game design.
To conduct research to improve the quality of education and production.
