Zehra AKGÜN, Ph.D

She was born in Zonguldak/Eregli.  In 1987, School of Nursing at the Cumhuriyet University graduated. At the same year continued her education at Cumhuriyet University,Faculty of Medicine. Syndactyly and radiological anatomy of polydactyly on his thesis completed in 1990.

The Effects of the lokal normothermia and hypothermia on the experimentally compressed in the rabbits  completed her PhD at the Department of Anatomy in 1995 .

Until 1998, Cumhuriyet University, Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, Department of physical education school of nursing and health services, she has lectured on theoretical and practical anatomy.

She worked in Uludağ University  School of Health between 1998-2011. Worked as Head of Department and vice-manager for 10 years. Retired in 2011.

Worked in Private  Atakent Hospital Department of Quality Control.

ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System and Internal  Control  Training completed the education.

She served as Director of quality.in Private  Hospitalium Çamlıca Hospital (2013-2014),

Attended to inspection of the ministery with the Project “Quality Standards in health care” for 3 terms. Lectured Medical Terminology in Kavram Vocational High School (2013-2014). 

Working in Üsküdar University since 2014. She is now acting as Asistance Prof. Dr. at Üsküdar University, Department of Operating Room Services.

She has presented papers at several national and international  congresses, has published articles in various journals. She speaks English

Research Interests: Radiological anatomy, functional  anatomy and osteologia.
