He was born in Antalya in 1991. He graduated from Antalya Yusuf Ziya Öner Science High School in 2009 and Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He completed his Psychiatry internship at Harvard Medical School McLean Psychiatric Hospital in 2014. He completed his psychiatry specialty training at Akdeniz University Hospital between 2016-2020. He is doing his PhD in Neuroscience at the Genome and Stem Cell Institute and is in the thesis phase. He spent part of his doctorate at Karolinska Institute. He works as an Assistant Professor at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine. He is interested in cognitive behavioral therapy, neuroscience and addiction.
