Short CV

She completed her undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Istanbul University in 2014 and subsequently received her master’s degree in 2017 from the same university, in the Department of Chemical Engineering, specializing in the Unit Operations and Thermodynamics program. Later, in 2023, she completed her doctoral studies in the Unit Operations and Thermodynamics program at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa, Department of Chemical Engineering. In her master’s research, she focused on modeling ternary liquid-liquid equilibrium data using classical thermodynamic models and artificial neural networks. For her doctoral work, she concentrated on modeling separation processes with deep learning algorithms, developing models to enable the use of deep neural networks in chemical engineering applications, and worked on the prediction of liquid-liquid and vapor-liquid equilibrium data. Throughout her doctoral studies, she was supported by the TÜBİTAK 2214-A Domestic Doctoral Scholarship. She has five publications in SCI-Expanded indexed journals. In addition, her master’s thesis, titled “Modeling of Liquid-Liquid Equilibrium Data by Different Methods,” was registered with a national patent. Her research interests include thermodynamic modeling, phase equilibrium, data-driven approaches in chemical engineering, and artificial intelligence-supported process modeling (artificial neural networks and deep neural networks).
