Sera Elbaşoğlu completed her undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, Department of Psychology in 2006. In 2020, she completed her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology at Üsküdar University by working on her thesis titled "Psikotik Özellikler Gösteren Hastaların Psikotik Özellik Göstermeyen Hastalara Göre Anksiyete Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi” (Investigation of Anxiety Levels of Patients with Psychotic Characteristics Compared to Patients Without Psychotic Features).
