Prof. Dr. Sadettin Çalışkan graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Sciences Department of Biology in 1977.  Çalışkan completed his medical specialty in Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine Department of Physiology in 1981 and he completed his doctorate in the Department of Physiology in 1984. Çalışkan got the title of Associate Professor in 1987 and he became Professor in 1994.
