Research Assistant Ogün TÖRER graduated in 2025 from the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Galatasaray University, ranking first in both the Faculty and the Department. During his undergraduate studies, he completed an internship at the Center for Strategic Research of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye. He also studied at Sciences Po Paris for one semester under the Erasmus+ programme and completed his undergraduate education with honours. As a Jean Monnet Scholar, Törer is pursuing his master’s degree in International Politics at Trinity College Dublin, where he has also worked as a teaching assistant and continues his graduate studies. Fluent in English and French, Törer’s main research interests include international economic sanctions, Middle Eastern studies, U.S. foreign policy, and Iranian foreign policy. Research Assistant Ogün TÖRER is currently working at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Üsküdar University.
