Prof. Murat Demiroğlu was born in Istanbul in 1971. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Istanbul. In 1988, he was admitted to Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and began his medical education, graduating as a medical doctor in 1994. In 1996, he passed the Medical Specialization Examination (TUS) and began his residency training in Orthopedics and Traumatology. Between 1994 and 1996, he fulfilled his compulsory service as a general practitioner in Artvin. In 2001, he completed his residency training at Taksim Training and Research Hospital and became a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology.

He has more than 25 years of clinical and academic experience in Orthopedics and Traumatology. His areas of particular interest include hand surgery, foot and ankle surgery, arthroplasty, orthopedic oncology, and trauma surgery. Following his residency training, he completed his compulsory service at Van State Hospital and subsequently worked at Beykoz State Hospital. He later served as a founding specialist at the Hand Surgery Clinic of Baltalimanı Bone Diseases Training and Research Hospital, where he had the opportunity to work with many experienced surgeons in the field. As part of his professional development, he worked as an observer physician at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, USA. He subsequently worked at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital and was awarded the title of Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology in 2018.

He retired in 2023 and joined Florence Nightingale Ataşehir Hospital in the same year. In 2024, he was awarded the title of Professor and was appointed as a professor at Demiroğlu Bilim University. Prof. Murat DEMİROĞLU currently serves as a Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Üsküdar University Faculty of Medicine.
