Born in Ankara in 1994, Mert İLHAN graduated from Başkent University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department with honor degree in 2017. After his graduation, he worked as a physiotherapist in various clinics for about 3 years and attended vocational trainings. In 2021 he completed Hacettepe University Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department, Prosthesis-Orthotics and Biomechanics Master's Program, which he started in 2018. He is studying at Hacettepe University, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Prosthesis-Orthotics and Biomechanics PhD Programme, which he started in 2021. He started to work as a research assistant at Üsküdar University, Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Orthotics and Prosthesis as of 202. He speaks English fluently (C2) and is a beginner (B1) in German. Areas of interest; assistive rehabilitation devices, foot-ankle orthoses and robotic rehabilitation.
