Mehmet Kerem CANBORA, MD

Prof. Mehmet Kerem Canbora was born in Istanbul in 1969. He completed his secondary and high school education in Istanbul. In 1987, he graduated from Uludağ University. He started his medical education at the Faculty of Medicine. In 2001, he completed his residency at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital Training and Research Hospital and became an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist. Between 2003 and 2018, he worked as a chief assistant at Haydarpaşa Numune Hospital Training and Research Hospital. In 2005, he joined the shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty surgery fellowship program at Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, Shoulder Service, under Prof. Dr. Jon J.P. Warner.Dr. Canbora is a member of the board of directors of the Turkish Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and a member of the European Society for Surgery of the Shoulder and the Elbow SECEC-ESSE. In 2014, he became an associate professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology. He received the title of professor in 2019.
