Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Atay completed his medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine and completed his specialization training in Cardiovascular Surgery. In addition to his clinical work, Atay has conducted scientific research and published studies at both national and international levels. His areas of expertise particularly include radiofrequency ablation for varicose vein treatment, vascular occlusions, and the treatment of advanced vascular lesions. Since 2017, he has been carrying out academic and scientific collaborations with RWTH Aachen University in Germany and Maastricht University in the Netherlands. His main areas of practice and interest include cardiovascular surgery, vascular surgery, varicose vein treatment, and the surgical and endovascular treatment of vascular diseases.
