İsmail YERLİ

İsmail YERLİ graduated from Marmara University Vocational School of Health Services in 2006. He completed his bachelor’s degree at Anadolu University, obtained a second bachelor’s degree from Istanbul University, and earned a Master’s degree with thesis in Perfusion at Karabük University. He also holds a Perfusion Authorization Certificate. He worked for two years as a perfusionist in the lung transplantation team at Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Training and Research Hospital, and in 2011 he was appointed as a Perfusionist at Koşuyolu High Specialization Training and Research Hospital, where he still serves. During this period, he attended an ECMO course at the University of Regensburg in Germany and received certification from the European Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion. He conducted a perfusionist training program in the cardiovascular surgery perfusion department in Kazakhstan, and in 2021 he was assigned by the Ministry of Health as the head of the perfusion unit to establish the perfusion department of a cardiovascular surgery hospital in Kyrgyzstan. Since 2021, he has also been working as an Instructor at Üsküdar University.
