İhsan Yılmaz graduated from the Department of Journalism at the Faculty of Communication at Istanbul University in 1994. He started his career as a reporter at Günaydın Newspaper in 1991 during his undergraduate years and worked as a reporter at STAR TV. He worked as a News Research Assistant Manager at Milliyet Newspaper, Editor in Chief at A Haber, and as Istanbul News Manager at TRT.
Yılmaz, who has been a journalist for over 30 years, holds a “permanent press card.” He has served as a member of the Board of Auditors, Chairman of the Board of Auditors, and as the General Treasurer at the Turkish Journalists Association, the largest professional organization for journalists in Turkey, where he currently serves as the Vice President.
