İbrahim ÖZTEK, MD

He was born in Ordu, 1945. He finished his primary school in Meriç (1956), middle school in Beykoz (1959) and Kuleli Military high school (1962). He graduated from the Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine on March 5, 1970. He served as the head of the 10th Infantry Division, as a specialist in Ankara Gata (1977), as a specialist in Çamlıca Military Hospital and as a founding instructor in Istanbul Gata. He became assistant professor in 1985, associate professor in 1987 and professor in 1993. In 1992 he conducted internship and examination studies in Zurich and Geneva Universities and Zurich Canton Hospital.  In 1993 he was elected to the American Angiology College Scientific Council. He retired from his position as Gata Haydarpaşa Training Hospital, Assistant Deputy Chief Surgeon and Directorate of Pathology in 1996.

Between 2004-2010, he was in the management of the ethics committee of Koşuyolu Heart Research and Yüksek İhtisas Hospital. He has 360 ​​scientific studies, some of which have been published abroad. He has written sections on heart transplantation pathology in 4 separate books about transplantation (organ transplant). In the 1995 edition of the American Society of Dermatology, he wrote the section on carcinomatous changes in skin cysts. He has 21 sports, historical and cultural books. In 1992 and 1993, one of the scientific researches they carried out with their friends won the world first prize and the other won the world third prize. He won numerous scientific awards and prizes in Turkey and has 10 Tübitak incentive awards. He has many studies with the largest number of cases in the world, one of them is lung cancer with 4500 cases. He is a Tema instructor. He is a Professional judoist and participated in nearly 20 Turkish championships, Balkan incentive championships and European tournaments.
