Born in 1981, Assoc. Prof. Ensar Zafer Bar graduated from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2005 and received the title of medical doctor. He received his specialty education at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and completed his specialization in 2015 and received the title of specialist doctor. He completed his compulsory service at Erzurum Regional Training and Research Hospital and in 2016, he started his academic life as an Assistant Professor at Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine.
In the city of Erzurum, which is the health center of the Eastern Anatolia Region, Hand and Upper Extremity Traumas and Microsurgery Reconstruction, Maxillofacial Traumas and Reconstruction, Skin and Soft Tissue Tumors/Cancers and Reconstruction, Reconstruction of many Congenital Anomalies, especially Cleft Lip and Palate, Burn Emergency Treatment and Late Reconstruction, Microsurgery of Tissue Defects with Free Flaps. He has performed hundreds of specialized reconstruction surgeries such as Microsurgical Reconstruction of the Hepatic Artery in Reconstruction and Living Donor Liver Transplants.
Between 2018 and 2020, he served as the head of the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Atatürk University. During his tenure as the head of the department, he also served as the 'Regional Representative of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association'. In 2019, he successfully carried out both the hosting duty and the entire local management of the organization at the 'Winter Symposium' titled "Complication Management in Aesthetic Surgery" held in Palandöken.
Between 2020 and 2021, he worked as an 'assignment staff' at Kartal Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Training and Research Hospital and was awarded the title of Associate Professor in January 2021.
He is a member of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association, the Cleft Lip and Palate Association and the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association.
