Asst. Prof. Emre Zengineken graduated from the Department of Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University, in 2003. In 2009, he completed his master’s degree in Visual Communication Design at the Graduate School of Social Sciences, Yeditepe University, and in 2020, he completed his Proficiency in Art degree in Cinema at the Graduate School of Education, Maltepe University. He began his professional career as an art director in the advertising industry and has since focused primarily on animation, motion design, and visual communication. He worked as a 3D Generalist and Motion Graphic Artist at BHB Animation & Technical Production. At Doğan Holding – MedyaNet, he worked for many years as a Visual Director, producing animation-based digital advertising projects (rich media) while also managing the creative team. In 2013, he became a co-founder and Creative Director of Digital Drop advertising agency.
Asst. Prof. Zengineken began his academic career in 2013 by teaching as a part-time lecturer in the Department of Cartoon and Animation at Maltepe University. In 2015, he joined the faculty of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Haliç University. In 2018, he returned to Maltepe University as a faculty member in the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Fine Arts, where he worked for eight years. During this period, he also taught as a visiting faculty member at Yeditepe University, Üsküdar University, and Arel University. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Communication, Üsküdar University.
