Emre ZENGİNEKEN, Assistant Professor/ Ph.D.

Asst. Prof. Emre Zengineken completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Graphic Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Marmara University; his master’s degree in the Department of Visual Communication Design at Yeditepe University; and his proficiency in art degree in the Department of Cinema at Maltepe University. Following extensive professional experience in the fields of animation and digital advertising, he served as a faculty member at Haliç University and Maltepe University, respectively. At the same time, he taught as a visiting faculty member at Yeditepe University, Üsküdar University, and Arel University. His teaching and professional areas include character animation, advanced rigging, timing and acting in animation, motion design and the principles of animation, 3D motion graphics, traditional animation, and cinematography. He also directs independent animated films. He currently serves as a faculty member in the Department of Cartoon and Animation at the Faculty of Communication, Üsküdar University.
