Born in Ankara. He graduated from Denizli High School and Pamukkale University, Department of Civil Engineering in 2001.
Since 1997 he has been working as a Sports Coach and Coach in the Turkish Mountaineering Federation and working as a safety coordinator at the berth in 2004. In 2007 he was Irata L1, in 2011 he was a rescue and high work trainer at the berth Irata L3i. He also supervised field work on various projects as a berth work safety specialist in 2010.
He had special trainings in Romania at Solo, Bulgarian Profixt, German Skylotec and Bornack, Czech Singing Rock. At the same time, he has 3 different certificates of product brands, life line installation document and PPE controller document.
He has worked as a trainer in many OSGB, consulting company and educational institution. At the same time, he gives training in 4 different universities in SEM. Çatakoğlu speaks English, is still an expert in Çağlayan-Bakırköy-Maltepe foresters.
