Begüm GAMİŞ was born in İstanbul in 1991. She graduated from Ahi Evran University Child Development field in 2014 with a first. Scope of Farabi program during her undergraduate years 2013-2014 fall and spring semesters are trained at Hacettepe University.
She studied her master’s degree at Trakya University – Disability Studies programme with the master thesis in the title of “Visual Based Analysis Of The Metaphor Perceptions Of 7-11 Year- Old Children With Specific Learning Disabilities And Normally Developing Children” in 2019 and began to do her PhD degree at Ankara University-Child Development programme at the same year.
Between September 2014- January 2015 she worked at İstanbul Eşref Bitlis Vocational and Technical High School Child Development department.
Since February 2015 she has been working as a Research Assistant in Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Child Development; she is also active in the Child Development and Educators Association and the Contemporary Drama Association.
Some of her main academic interests are specific learning disabilities, visual arts, creative drama, early childhood development and sexual development.
