Ahmet Kerem ERKAN

Lecturer Ahmet Kerem Erkan continues his work as an educator, interpreter, and accessible communication consultant in the field of Turkish Sign Language. He received Turkish Sign Language training through the Turkish National Federation of the Deaf and has gained many years of practical and field experience in sign language, Deaf culture, accessible communication, and interpreting.

He actively contributes to initiatives in the field of Turkish Sign Language (TSL) and serves on the TSL committee within the Anatolian Federation of the Deaf. In addition, he worked as a trainer, interpreter, and consultant in a European Union-funded international sign language project conducted in Malta, where he played an active role in International Sign practices and multilingual accessible communication initiatives.

As the founder of Silahhane, Erkan develops individual and corporate Turkish Sign Language training programs and provides Turkish Sign Language training, interpreting, and accessible communication consultancy services for organizations in the healthcare, education, public, and private sectors.

He continues his work in the areas of Turkish Sign Language education, Deaf culture, communication accessibility, and social awareness, contributing to education, consultancy, projects, and social responsibility initiatives at both the national and international levels.
