Candidates who have not applied to any exam of ÖSYM before can make their applications without going to an application center if they have a photo ID card and e-Government password, by pressing the "Register with e-Government" button on the Candidate Operations System (AIS) and registering to the system with their existing ID number and e-Government password. 14. How will the exam fees be paid?

41. 2023-How many raw scores must be obtained to calculate the weighted scores in TYT, AYT and YDT?

The diploma grade out of 100 in secondary education is multiplied by 5 and converted into the Secondary Education Success Score (OBP). The diploma grades of candidates whose diploma grades are not reported and the diploma grades of candidates whose diploma grades are below 50 are taken into consideration as 50. Thus, the OBP for the lowest diploma grade of 50 will be 250 and the OBP for the highest diploma grade of 100 will be 500.
50. What will be the contribution of OBP when calculating placement scores?
OBP will be multiplied by a coefficient of 0.12 and added to the exam scores to calculate the placement scores.
51. Last year, I was placed and enrolled in a higher education program in the central placement with my 2022-YKS score. If I take the exam this year, will there be a change in the coefficients to be multiplied by OBP?
Yes. The coefficients related to the secondary education achievement scores of candidates who are placed in a higher education program with 2022-YKS scores or enrolled as a result of a special talent exam are halved.
52. Last year, I was placed in a higher education program in the central placement with my 2022-YKS score, but I did not register. If I take the exam this year, will there be a change in the coefficients to be multiplied by OBP?

56. I graduated from vocational high school last year. When I take the 2023-YKS this year, will I be able to get additional points in the placement process for associate degree programs related to my graduation field?

57. I am a vocational high school graduate, do I have the right to choose without an exam?
As of 2017, the right to pass to associate degree programs without an exam has been abolished.
58. I have a diploma from more than one secondary education institution, what should I do?
Those who have more than one diploma and those who have at least one diploma and can obtain another diploma in the 2022-2023 academic year will choose one of these schools to be used in the 2023-YKS evaluation process. 59. Can candidates with Blue Cards apply to 2023-YKS?
Among those who are Turkish citizens by birth and lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining a permission to renounce, those who have a Certificate on the Exercise of the Rights Reserved by the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 (Blue Card holders) can apply for the exam. These candidates will be placed in the higher education programs listed in the 2023-YKS Higher Education Programs and Quotas Guide.
60. My education information that I will apply for 2023-YKS does not appear in the system, how can I have my education information added?
Among the candidates whose education information is based on the MEB e-School system, senior students who need to update this information should apply to their schools, and graduated candidates should apply to the District Directorates of National Education and ensure that their current information is updated in the MEB e-school system.
61. Can I add a session on 2023-YKS late application day?
Sessions selected in the application for 2023-YKS between March 08-23, 2023 can be added on the late application day.

No, there is not. In order to be able to choose higher education programs that accept students with TYT score, it is sufficient to have a TYT score calculated. In order to be able to choose undergraduate programs that accept students with SAY, SÖZ, EA and LANGUAGE score types, it is sufficient for the candidate to have a score calculated in the relevant score type. 65. I am a disabled person. I want to enter the 2023-YKS in the disabled hall as a disabled candidate. What should I do?
In order for candidates with disabilities/health problems to be admitted to the exam in the "Disabled Halls";
1) A certified copy of the Disability Health Board Report / Health Board Report / Special Needs Report for Children (ÇÖZGER) (to be obtained from a university or state hospital),
2) Health Status/Disability Information Form (completed),
3) Petitions stating their health/disability status,
4) A photocopy of the Candidate Application Registration Information
within the application period to ÖSYM Disabled Candidates Department (06800 Bilkent-ANKARA).
66. Can I leave the documents requested from candidates with disabilities/health problems at the application center?
The requested documents should be sent directly to ÖSYM. They should not be left at application centers.
67. I am visually impaired, I will take the exam with the help of a reader. Am I responsible for all questions?
Visually impaired candidates who request reader assistance will not be asked questions with visual data such as figures, graphics, tables, pictures and questions with complex expressions.

69. I am a candidate with low vision. I applied to 2023-YKS. I want to read the questions myself, will I be given additional time in the exam due to my vision problem?
Candidates with low vision who are able to read the questions by themselves (who do not request reader assistance in the exam), but whose Disability Health Board Reports have a rate of 25% or more of Visual System, Eye Diseases, Visual Impairment, etc., and candidates whose special needs level in the Special Needs Report for Children (ÇÖZGER) is "Has special needs (ÖGV)"/Special Needs Code "1" and above are given additional time.
70. I am visually impaired, I have applied for 2023-YKS. Can I get a 14-point question booklet and 14-point answer sheet?
Although visually impaired candidates who are able to read the question booklet on their own will be given a question booklet written in 9 or 14-point font according to their request, the answer sheet size is standard and 9-point. Since the answer sheet is in 9-point font, candidates should not ignore the marking on the answer sheet. Marker assistance will be provided to candidates in this situation upon request.
71. Are private hospital reports of candidates with disabilities/health problems accepted?
Disabled Health Board Reports / Health Board Reports / SOLUTIONER from state or university hospitals are accepted. Private Hospital reports are not accepted.
72. I am a physically disabled candidate, I will take the 2023-YKS. What are the exam practices for physically disabled candidates?
Among the physically disabled candidates who fill in the Health Status/Disability Information Form in accordance with their conditions in their Health Board Reports, those whose reports are accepted by our Presidency are assigned to the disabled halls. Physically disabled candidates who need marker assistance are given marker assistance.
73. I have asthma, I will take the 2023-YKS. I need to take the exam with my asthma medication. What should I do?
Candidates who use asthma medication/pump/spray, medication (with grain) will be able to take the exam in the building and hall specified in the Exam Entrance Document, provided that they are carefully checked manually and/or with a detector by security guards at the entrance of the exam building.
74. I have taken the exam as a disabled person before. Do I need to send a report again?
In 2014 and after (except EKPSS and e-YDS), if you have applied to any exam of ÖSYM with a Disability Health Board Report / Health Board Report and there is no change in your disability status, you do not need to submit a Disability Health Board Report / Health Board Report again.

In the earthquake dated February 6, 2023, candidates residing in Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Elazığ, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Malatya, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa, Sivas-Gürün province/district and/or studying in the last year of secondary education in these provinces/districts will not be charged for the exam and application service fee. ÖSYM reserves the right to check the address information of the candidates from the Address Based Population Registration System and school / information from the Ministry of National Education.
