As part of its preference and promotion efforts, Üsküdar University continues to engage with prospective students across multiple platforms. Between July 25–27, the university’s academic and expert staff met with thousands of students at the Education Institutions Equipment and Technologies (EKET) Preference and Promotion Fair, held at the Istanbul Congress Center. Üsküdar University once again received significant attention at the fair, which was organized for the 14th time this year. At the event, prospective students had the opportunity to ask their questions directly to prominent figures such as Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Prof. Nazife Güngör, Prof. Sevil Atasoy, and Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak.


Academic Staff Engaged Directly with Students
Üsküdar University was represented at the 14th EKET Preference Fair by Founding Rector and Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Vice Rector Prof. Sevil Atasoy, and Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak. The academic team actively interacted with university candidates and answered their questions.


Strong Interest in Prof. Tarhan
In interviews with ÜniTercih TV, Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and Prof. Nazife Güngör shared valuable advice regarding the university selection process.

At the fair, Prof. Tarhan engaged in conversations with students and their families, signed copies of his books, and communicated directly with the youth. Attracting great attention at the preference area, he also took many photos with students.

Üsküdar University’s Booth Drew Great Interest
Prospective students had the chance to speak one-on-one with faculty members and preference advisors at the Üsküdar University booth. Over the course of the three-day event, more than 3,000 visitors received detailed information about faculties, academic programs, scholarship opportunities, and the unique advantages offered by the university.

Giant Maiden’s Tower Model Drew Attention
The giant model of the Maiden’s Tower, which is an iconic symbol of Üsküdar, displayed at the fair attracted strong interest from students. Many prospective students took photos in front of the tower, adding color and excitement to the event.
