Visit to Prof. Nevzat Tarhan from the Baku Representation Office of Azerbaijan

Könül Hümbetova, the Baku Representative of Üsküdar University in Azerbaijan, visited the President of Üsküdar University, Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, in his office. The meeting included an exchange of information regarding the activities of the Baku Representation Office. Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör also participated in the meeting. Plans concerning education and health cooperation between the two countries were addressed during the visit.

The meeting, held in the office of Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, was attended by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Nazife Güngör, Head of the International Relations Department Peyman Jaferi, and Şaban Özdemir, Manager of the Media and Public Relations Unit of the Corporate Communications Department.

Azerbaijan-Türkiye cooperation in education and health

During the meeting, information was shared regarding the activities of the Baku Representation Office, which coordinates Üsküdar University’s institutional promotion and collaborations in Azerbaijan. Current efforts were evaluated, and strategic plans in the fields of education and health were discussed in the context of cooperation between the two countries.

The visit emphasized that the representation office serves as a bridge between Azerbaijan and Türkiye. Possible steps to strengthen cooperation in academic, cultural, and social projects were discussed.

 

Strengthening bilateral relations

The main aim of the visit was to further strengthen relations between Azerbaijan and Üsküdar University, especially through student exchange programs, joint academic activities, and promotional initiatives.
