Indian academic delegation visits Üsküdar

An academic delegation from the Indian state of Kerala visited Üsküdar University. The academic delegation headed by MES Mampad College Rector Dr. Sabique MK met with academics from Üsküdar as part of an academic tour of Türkiye. Making the opening speech of the visit, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak emphasized the importance of cooperation for the future by emphasizing the historical roots of relations with India. Within the scope of the visit, the Indian delegation also visited the Risale-i Nur Research Platform and received information.

During the visit, the delegation was informed about Üsküdar University's academic programs, research activities and high-tech infrastructure by making comprehensive presentations. Information was also given about President of Üsküdar University Psychiatrist Prof. Nevzat Tarhan and NPİSTANBUL Hospital.

RINAP was also visited

In addition, the delegation visited the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) and exchanged views on Islamic philosophy and the contributions of Said Nursi's spiritual legacy to contemporary education.

Expanding educational opportunities for Indian students

The members of the delegation emphasized that Üsküdar University has the potential to become an attractive higher education center for Indian students. They expressed their desire to build bridges between the institutions in Kerala and Üsküdar University that will promote academic collaboration, faculty exchange and student mobility in the future.

This visit is seen as a promising step in terms of establishing more educational ties between Türkiye and India and once again demonstrated Üsküdar University's commitment to global academic partnerships.
