"100 Authors, 100 New Works" project mentorship training held
Project Mentoring Training was held within the scope of the "One Hundred New Authors for the New Hundred Years of Our Literature" project, which is supported by the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society and hosted by Üsküdar University. At the same time, comprehensive content was presented on the technical foundations of the discipline of writing, character and space design, writing practice and individual writing journey. Within the scope of the training, certificates were presented to the participating mentor teachers.
The training was held at Üsküdar University Çarşı campus.
The mentoring training, which was carried out under the instructorship of Üsküdar University Young Minds Academy Director Asst. Prof. Nebiye Yaşar, focused on creative writing, cultural transfer, project management and guidance methods for young Authors.
It was emphasized that it is a unique social innovation model
Within the scope of the training program, İlim ve Fazilet Vakfı Okulları (Science and Virtue Foundation Schools), which are project implementation schools, also undertook the implementation leg of the mentoring process and ensured that young talents were supported in the field. In this context, it was emphasized that the program is a unique social innovation model that bridges both academic disciplines and literary production processes.
During the training process, comprehensive content was presented on the technical foundations of the discipline of writing, character and space design, writing practice and individual writing journey. Sessions supported by practical examples were also held on how to constructively establish mentoring relationships necessary for young Authors to produce lasting works.
Value building with literature and the future of culture with young people were discussed
The mentoring program aims not only to encourage literary talents, but also to create a strong infrastructure for young individuals to discover their cultural identities, develop their expression skills and act with a sense of social responsibility.
The training program implemented by ÇATKON, the coordinator of the project supported by the Ministry of Interior, General Directorate of Relations with Civil Society, in cooperation with Üsküdar University, draws attention as one of Türkiye's pioneering social development moves that invest in young Authors in the field of literature.

President of Science and Virtue Foundation Schools Mahmut Ekşi stated that "Literature is the memory of a nation. With this project, we aim to develop not only the writing skills of young people, but also their cultural carrier responsibilities."

İshak Koçoğlu, Member of the Board of Directors of ICOC, emphasized the social contribution of the project. Koçoğlu stated that "Cultural transmission is only possible through living texts. Every new work born from the pen of young people is a mark left for the future. I see this project as an investment that keeps the collective memory alive."

Project Coordinator Yüksel Arslan stated that "The mentoring training integrated the academic and practitioner dimensions of the project. Equipping teachers to support young Authors not only technically but also psychosocially is a critical step for sustainable success."
