The Automated Journalist: Rethinking Authorship and Textuality in the Age of AI

Organized in collaboration with Üsküdar University’s Department of New Media and Communication (Turkish), Department of New Media and Communication (English), Department of Journalism, PhD Program in New Media and Communication, MA Program in Media and Cultural Studies, and the New Media and Journalism Program, the seminar titled “The Automated Journalist: Rethinking Authorship and Textuality in the Age of AI” featured Giusy Gallo, who examined the growing use of AI-assisted applications in data journalism, news writing, and text production through a series of case studies.
