Prof. Ömer Faruk Elmas graduated from Atatürk University Faculty of Medicine in 2010. Between 2011 and 2015, he worked as a research assistant in the Department of Dermatology at the same university. After completing his compulsory state service, he served as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology at Ahi Evran University Faculty of Medicine between 2017 and 2021. In 2021, he was appointed as the Head of the Department and Associate Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology at Kırıkkale University Faculty of Medicine.
Throughout his academic career, he has published numerous national and international studies in the field of dermatology. In 2019, he gained international experience at the University of Vienna, Medical Faculty, Department of Dermatology, Dermato-Oncology Unit in Austria.
His current research focuses primarily on dermato-oncology, dermatoscopy, and dermatopathology within the field of Dermatology and Venereal Diseases.
