Melda ENGİNSU, Ph.D

Melda ENGİNSU graduated from Kadir Has University, Department of American Culture and Literature in 2012. She completed her master's degree at Okan University, Department of Translation Studies in 2016. She completed her P.h.D. in 2024 at Istanbul University Department of Theater Criticism and Dramaturgy with her thesis titled “The Position and Function of Translation in the Repertoire Formation of Istanbul Stages in the 2000s”. Since 2016, she has been working with various publishing houses and translating dystopia, science fiction, young romance and historical romance novels from English to Turkish. Her areas of interest include literary translation and theater translation.
